MICHIGAN, (WNEM) -

The state has unveiled a photo exhibit that hopes to help find forever homes for dozens of children in foster care.

The 2018 Heart Gallery is organized by the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE), a program of the Ann Arbor-based nonprofit human services agency the Judson Center.

The photo gallery features 143 children in Michigan foster care looking for their forever family.

Fifty professional photographers from throughout the state donated their time and talents to make the gallery possible.
