WARREN (WNEM) -

A Buffalo Wild Wings is warning customers they may have been exposed to hepatitis A.

The Macomb County Health Department has confirmed an employee at the location at 29287 Mound Road in Warren was diagnosed with the liver infection.

Michigan is currently experiencing a serious hepatitis A outbreak, according to health officials. More than 800 cases have been reported statewide since August of 2016.

The restaurant said customers who ate there between March 24th and April 9th should seek a hepatitis vaccine.

Symptoms of hepatitis A include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dark urine, fever, chills, and yellow skin and eyes (jaundice).

The location has since been inspected and given approval to operate.
