Two men were arrested after investigators found drugs in their motel room.

Investigators said officers from the Oscoda Township Police Department received a report on May 3 about two men from Detroit who were allegedly selling drugs in Oscoda and AuSable Township.

Officers performed a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, and later obtained a search warrant for a room located at the Oscoda Lakeside Motel in AuSable Township where the two men were staying.

Officers executed the search warrant early Friday morning and found 18.5 grams of crack cocaine, 2.5 grams of heroin and a small amount of marijuana.

Police also seized $1257 from the room.

The two Detroit men, ages 45 and 25, were booked into the Iosco County Jail pending arraignment for two felony charges of possession with the intent to distribute heroin and cocaine.

Their names were not released.
