SANDUSKY, OH (CBS) -

A Cedar Point spokesperson confirms that Steel Vengeance is back open after it was closed down due to an accident.

The tallest, fastest and longest hybrid roller coaster in the world, was shut down on Saturday just hours after it opened to the public when a returning train bumped into a parked train in the loading area of the ride.

The record-breaking roller coaster was closed while park officials investigated the incident. A Cedar Point spokesperson confirmed four people asked to see medics on site, but they all went back into the park.

Prior to the incident, park-goers took to social media to describe lines they say were several hours long.

The coaster holds 10 world records for a steel/wood hybrid, including fastest, tallest, longest and most airtime. The coaster climbs 205 feet above the ground and features the world's fastest airtime hill ever created for a hybrid roller coaster.
