UPDATE: Missing 12-year-old girl found safe in Florida

ADRIAN, MI (WNEM) -

A missing 12-year-old Michigan girl considered to be in danger was found safe in Florida. 

Michigan State Police issued an Endangered Missing Advisory for Brianna Longardner after she was last seen on May 3.

Police said she had not taken her prescription medication since that time and was last seen with her biological mother, Ryla Erin Hubbard, who doesn't have custodial rights.

Police also said that Ryla had threatened to take Brianna to an unknown location and had a criminal record.

Adrian Police report that Brianna was found safe in Florida and the person suspected of taking her is in custody, awaiting extradition to Michigan to face charges of kidnapping-custodial interference. The charge is a felony carrying a maximum penalty of 1 year and 1 day behind bars.
