Authorities are investigating after two people were hurt in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night.

It happened about 10:35 p.m. on the 4900 block of E. Boulevard Drive between N. Dort Highway and E. Pierson Road.

Investigators said an unknown vehicle was heading west on E. Boulevard Drive when it hit a silver BMX style bike that was also traveling west.

After hitting the bike, the vehicle fled the scene heading westbound on E. Boulevard Drive.

Police said there were two people riding on the bike, 21-year-old Celena Grace Payton and 15-year-old Rayvon Williams. Both were taken to Hurley Medical Center with multiple internal injuries. Payton was last listed in critical condition. Williams was listed in good condition.

It’s unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
