MID-MICHIGAN (WNEM) -

With just one day before the big royal wedding, Mid-Michigan businesses are baking up excitement.

Saturday, Prince Harry will marry American actress Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle.

Patisserie Bakery on Bay Road in Saginaw is offering several different royal themed baked goods to celebrate the engagement.

The bakery is selling its version of the royal wedding cake, which is a white cake infused with elderflower syrup, filled with lemon curd and topped with a buttercream frosting.

Patisserie is also selling cookies with a photo of the couple printed in the frosting.

Crust - A Baking Company on Caroline Street in Fenton has also created it's own version of the royal wedding cake. Crust's own Jill Davis created a lemon and elderflower flavored confection. The bakery sold 20 cakes at $35 a piece.

Girl Talk in Frankenmuth is hosting a royal wedding watch party on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The business located in the River Place Shops will be showing events all day as well as offering discounted royal merchandise. It will also serve British cookie and tea samples to patrons.
