A new Cedar Point roller coaster is off to a rocky start.

The amusement park announced Steel Vengeance would close at 5 p.m. Wednesday night, but no cause was given. The record-breaking roller coaster will not open Thursday either, the park announced on Twitter.

The coaster was shut down on the park’s opening day after a returning train bumped into a parked train in the loading area of the ride.

The coaster holds 10 world records for a steel/wood hybrid, including fastest, tallest, longest and most airtime. The coaster climbs 205 feet above the ground and features the world's fastest airtime hill ever created for a hybrid roller coaster.
