CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

A missing Michigan teen has been found dead.

The Chesterfield Township Police Department said 15-year-old Nathaniel Bishop was last seen about 6 p.m. Friday, May 25 at his home on the 52000 block of Vanburen, near 24 Mile Road and Gratiot.

Police said the teen left after an argument with his mother and had not been heard of since.

The department said the teen was found dead about 4:40 p.m. Saturday in a wooded area north of Hickey Road and east of Gratiot.

While the investigation is ongoing, investigators do not suspect foul play.

"The Chesterfield Police Department would like to extend our gratitude to all of the agencies that participated in the search effort and we extend our condolences to the Bishop family," the department wrote on Facebook.
