FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A Flint man was convicted of a drive-by shooting that happened in 2017.

Darius Dunn, 26, was found guilty on nine counts related to the March 4, 2017 incident.

Two victims were driving eastbound on Pasadena Avenue in Flint when they were shot.

Dunn fired 16 rounds at them as they passed alongside the vehicle, the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office said.

The driver managed to get him and his passenger to a hospital for treatment.

Dunn was convicted of two counts of assault with intent to murder, four counts of felony firearm, two counts of discharge of a firearm from a moving vehicle causing injury and one count of domestic violence.

“Video surveillance in the area that captured the incident and diligent police work by the Michigan State Police led authorities to Dunn,” Prosecutor David Leyton said.  “We know Darius Dunn to be a dangerous individual and I am very happy that we were able to convict him on all counts and take him off the streets of Flint.”

Dunn is scheduled to be sentenced July 10.
