UPDATE: Missing Flint Township dementia patient found safe

FLINT TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Authorities report they have found a missing Mid-Michigan man with dementia.  

Flint Township Police Department asked for help finding 78-year-old Walter Allen Riselay after he was last seen about 2:30 a.m. Monday on the 2400 block of Howald Avenue in the Pasadena, Flushing and Linden Road area. 

Riselay is a dementia patient and has heart issues. 

Officials said he was found about 9 a.m. after he walked to the home of a relative on Flint’s east side.

He was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
