MICHIGAN, (WNEM) -

A Michigan woman has been found safe after police said her cell phone last pinged in Mid-Michigan.

St. Clair County Sheriff Tim Donnellon said 29-year-old Cayla Kaminski from St. Clair left her house at 2 p.m. Monday to go to a doctor’s appointment but never arrived. Her husband filed a missing persons report and said she was suffering from PTSD.

Investigators said her cell phone last pinged about 4 p.m. Monday in the Davison area, but then was turned off.

Her husband said they did not know anyone that lives in that area.

Following several investigative leads, Donnellon said detectives were able to make contact with Kaminski Wednesday night by phone. She told police she is safe and well.

No further details were released.
