FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Are you looking to “Primp Your Pit?”

For $20 you can get your pit bull fixed at All About Animals Rescue, a non-profit clinic with locations in Warren and Flint.

The organization said a grant provided by PetSmart Charities will help 300 pit bulls get spayed or neutered during the month of August.

Healthy dogs weighing at least two pounds that are eight weeks or older can safely be fixed.

The organization reports 40 percent of all the dogs euthanized in shelters are listed as pit bull/pit mix dogs and the "breed" accounts for 19 percent of all dogs entering United States shelters.

You can register your dog to get fixed by visiting All About Animals Rescue online or by calling the Flint location at 810-780-4978 or the Warren location at 586-879-1745.

Availability is limited.
