Friday Morning Forecast

Today's Forecast

Today's Forecast Image

An upper level low pressure system stuck in the Midwest will bring us a chance for rain just about through the entire weekend, however that doesn't mean your outdoor plans are ruined.

After an absolutely beautiful start to our morning, clouds will be increasing and then we'll have to watch for a chance for a few showers.  Any rain we see will be spotty and will not be heavy.  It will however, be enough that you may need your windshield wipers for a few minutes.  If you don't receive any rain, expect mostly cloudy skies throughout the day.  Highs today will top out in the low 70s which is slightly below average for this time of year.  Typically our highs should be around 80. Winds will be out of the east northeast at 5 to 15 mph, gusting to 20 mph.

We'll see our best chance for rain this weekend during the overnight hours tonight into early on Saturday.  It is a better opportunity for most of Mid-Michigan to receive rain, but even then it will only be light to moderate showers.  Lows will drop down to around 60 with winds out of the east northeast at 5 to 15 mph.

Have a wonderful weekend! Be sure to like us on Facebook for weather updates 24/7, and stay up to date with the latest First Warn 5 7-Day Forecast.
