No one injured in Bay City house fire
BAY CITY, Mich. (WNEM) - Crews responded to a house fire in Bay City Friday morning.
The fire broke out at a house in the 1100 block of Cass Avenue and Fraser on Friday, May 19 shortly before 9 a.m.
Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from a second story window, the Department of Public Safety said.
“Initially, an offensive fire attack was made, followed by a defensive attack. Once the fire was extinguished, overhaul activities were conducted,” it said.
No one was injured, according to Bay City Public Safety Director Caleb Rowell.
The incident is under investigation by the Fire Marshal, the Department of Public Safety said.
