Lauren Piesko joined the WNEM TV-5 Wake-Up team in September 2023. She and her husband tied the knot in the summer of 2023 and are proud to call mid-Michigan their first home. A Michigan native, Lauren graduated from Central Michigan University in 2021--FIRE UP CHIPS—and comes here from Oakland County. You can catch her live, out in the field, and on Saturday and Sunday mornings anchoring Weekend Wake-Up. When she’s not on-air, you can find Lauren outside with her dog, Jax.
