A Michigan State Police helicopter helped local police catch two motorcyclists who allegedly fled from officers at a high rate of speed.
The chase happened Wednesday, Sept. 19 in the city of Flint.
Lt. Dave Kaiser with Michigan State Police said troopers were on patrol when Flint police reported three motorcyclists fleeing from them.
A short time later, police reported a traffic stop near Remington and Fenton with one of the motorcycles stopped. Around the same time, troopers in the MSP helicopter located a second motorcycle at a high rate of speed leaving the described area.
Trooper 3 followed and called out to the fleeing motorcycle to stop.
Flint police eventually made contact with the driver at Lapeer and Dort.
Two out of the three motorcyclists were arrested and taken into custody.
