GENERIC: Aldi

Need a job? Grab your resume, and head out to the nearest ALDI store.

The grocery chain is on a statewide hiring spree, looking to fill more than 100 positions across the state.

You can show up at one of Michigan’s 77 stores from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on April 24 and apply.

Wages start at $12 an hour, with a pay increase after 6 months of employment.

You must be 18-years or older to apply, and a high school diploma or GED are preferred, as well as retail experience.

There will also be a drug screening and background check.

Applicants must be able to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Monday-Sunday and be able to lift 45 pounds.

ALDI said that employees averaging more than 25 hours per week are eligible for full health insurance benefits and dental coverage.

All employees are also invited to participate in ALDI 401(k) program.

There are two ALDI stores in Saginaw, one in Bay City, Midland, and Mt. Pleasant. There are three in the Flint area, one in Owosso and one in Lapeer. To find the one closest to you, click here.
