Fire in the 400 block of S. Webster in Saginaw

The Saginaw Fire Department responded to a fire in the 400 block of S. Webster Street.

Saginaw County Central Dispatch first reported the fire just before 1 a.m. Friday, July 23.

One woman, the only person inside the home at the time of the fire, made it out and she was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, according to the Saginaw Fire Department.

The fire department said the home sustained minimal structural and smoke damage, but it's still in a livable condition.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
