The Flint Firebirds head coach said he is stepping down from his position.
General Manager Barclay Branch announced on Friday, Oct. 12 that coach Ryan Oulahen is leaving the team.

Branch said Oulahen's is leaving the organization due to personal family issues.
"We wish him the best in his future endeavors," Branch said during a press conference.
The assistant coach will step into the role as interim head coach.
Branch said the team was blindsided by Oulahen's decision.
However, Branch said the team will remain committed, regroup and reset.
"It's unfortunate, but we'll get through it," Branch said.
