Man arrested following string of bank robberies

Police say a man has been arrested following a string of bank robberies.

Derrick Morris, 61, was wanted for questioning in three robberies that happened in April: Chemical Bank at 100 S. Michigan on Friday, April 6 at 9 a.m. Saginaw County Employees Credit Union at 1700 Court on Monday, April 13 at 11:40 a.m. Family First Credit Union at 1011 N. Michigan on Friday, April 16 at 3:40 p.m.Morris is now lodged in Saginaw County Jail on a felony bank robbery warrant. Other charges are expected.
