Authorities are searching for a man accused of exposing himself to a woman at a car wash.

The encounter happened April 19 at a car wash on North Holly Road.

Holly Police Chief Michael Story said a 23-year-old woman told police she was vacuuming and cleaning out her vehicle when an older silver SUV pulled up on the other side of the vacuum island.

The woman told police a short man wearing a dress got out of the SUV and asked her for a cigarette and a lighter. The woman gave him one and returned to vacuuming her vehicle.

The woman said when she turned off the vacuum, the man asked her if he could see her toes.

She refused and told the man she was wearing tennis shoes. The woman said the man asked her several times about her toes.

The woman told police she then walked to the dumpster to throw away trash, and when she turned around the man was bent over exposing his butt and genitals to her. She told police he was looking back at her when he did this.

The man then got back into his vehicle and drove off in an unknown direction.

The woman told police the man’s passenger door was open and she could see two or three pairs of women’s flip flops on the floor of the SUV.

Story said the man was described as being in his mid-50s, with a full head of gray hair. He is approximately 5’7” tall and has a skinny build. He was last seen wearing a short blue paisley patterned dress with no underwear, women’s flip flips and his toe nails were painted blue, police said.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Holly Police Department at (248) 634-8221.
