A Mid-Michigan man won $232,490 playing Club Keno.

William Krupp Jr., of Clio, won when his easy pick the Jack numbers matched eight of the 20 numbers on Nov. 9. He bought his winning ticket at Vic's Grocery Store, 10211 Clio Road, in Clio.

The Jack is an add-on game players can add for $1 a draw. The prizes range from $1 to the jackpot, which starts at $10,000 and grows until it is won. Players must match all eight numbers to win the jackpot.

“I was doing some shopping at Vic’s and stopped at the self-scanner to see if my ticket was a winner,” Krupp said. “At first, I thought the scanner had to be broken, so I checked my ticket using the Lottery app on my phone. When I saw all of my numbers come up, I was shocked.”

Krupp plans to pay off his house with his winnings.
