Michigan has 238 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 and has reported two new deaths as a result of the virus.
Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids also reported the death of a male patient in his seventies who tested positive for COVID-19 and passed away on March 21.
Michigan now has 787 total cases and a total of five confirmed deaths due to COVID-19, according to new state numbers released on March 21.
The new numbers show Saginaw County's first case.
The two new deaths reported by the state are individuals from Detroit and Oakland County.
