Cracks and jabs are common during the matchup between Michigan and Ohio State, but some say a photo circulating on social media may have taken things too far.

The caption of the Twitter image posted by @BarstoolOSU reads “Truth.” The picture shows a group of Ohio State fans posing with a banner: “Michigan Girls: More Diseased Than Flint Water.”

The exact location of the banner is not known.

The post was retweeted hundreds of times but many are calling the image “classless” and “distasteful.”

The Flint water crisis began in April of 2014 when thousands of residents and children were exposed to lead contaminated water after the city switched from Detroit’s water system to Flint River water.

Several officials have been charged in the crisis.
