A Comerica Park bleacher creature turns into a viral sensation and all he had to do was take in a ball game - topless.
“I never expected this,” Sam Vosburgh said.
You may have seen the 60-year-old’s glorious gut pop up on Twitter in an image that's been shared thousands of times.
He made himself at home for the Tigers homestand by going shirtless for a first pitch temperature of 36 degrees.
The Battle Creek man said he was shocked to learn of his new-found fame because the sports super fan goes to games topless all time.
“I just went to watch the ballgame with my grandkids and my son-in-law and all the sudden all this. It's overwhelming, it's beyond,” Vosburgh said.
Vosburgh said he rarely wears a shirt because he “runs hot,” but his 15 seconds of fame has also earned him the nickname “Chewbacca.”
