Two people were stabbed at an adult foster care home on Sunday.
It happened on the 4000 block of E. Airport Road in Isabella County's Union Township.
Deputies responded to the report of a stabbing and found a 37-year-old woman bleeding from several puncture wounds. She was an employee at the foster care home, according to the Isabella County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies also found a 47-year-old resident of the home with a puncture wound to his thigh.
They arrested another resident at the home, Lonney Lavoye, for the incident. Lavoye is 25-years-old.
The two victims were transported to McLaren Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, the sheriff's department said.
Lavoye was not following certain house rules and became upset and began to stab the worker, the sheriff's department said.
Another resident tried to stop Lavoye from assaulting the worker and that's when he was stabbed, the sheriff's department said.
Lavoye surrender to the deputies as soon as they arrived. He has been charged with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
