Rain on Tuesday did some serious damage to the ongoing drought across a wide swath of Mid-Michigan, with several totals reaching above the 3.0" mark. If you're ready for a break from the wet weather and the muggy conditions, this forecast is for you!
We break it down below!
Beach Hazards along Lake Huron and Small Craft Advisories for the Saginaw Bay are in effect until this evening. Dangerous swimming conditions as well as rip currents and high waves will not make for a good day for water activities on the lake.
This Evening & Tonight
Any evening plans tonight will be just fine, as skies stay clear. Temperatures this evening will fall in the 60s, reaching the lower and middle 50s for overnight lows.
Cool and clear conditions will be the trend for the overnight period.
Going into Thursday, this looks to be the best day of the entire week! Sunshine will dominate the skies, with no precipitation chances, as high pressure will be in direct control. Temperatures rebound slightly closer to 80 degrees with humidity levels staying comfortable.
By the time we get into Friday, the signs of our next system approaching will become visible. Temperatures will begin to warm back into the 80s with an increase in cloud cover.
