Police scene at Babel Food Market shooting

Michigan State Police have announced an arrest in the fatal shooting at a convenience store in Saginaw.

Saginaw City and Michigan State Police responded to Babel Food Market at about 2 a.m. on Saturday, May 18.

Police said 33-year-old Deonte Dexter was pronounced dead at the scene.

Michigan State Police now say they arrested a suspect, a 26-year-old man in the Muskegon area on May 20.

He is currently at the Saginaw County Jail pending his arraignment.
