The Roscommon County Sheriff's Office has arrested three suspects in connection with a fatal shooting.
Levi Seelye, 20, Jordan Terto, 18, and Keante Grays, 18, were arrested.
All three suspects are being charged on multiple felony counts, according to police.
Their charges are open murder, assault with attempt to rob while armed, and being armed with a firearm during the commission of a felony.
On Jan. 13, officers were sent to a home on McKinley Street in Houghton Lake.
Roscommon County Sheriff Ed Stern said witnesses reported three suspects entered the home with their faces covered with long guns and shot a 29-year-old man, identified as Jon Paul Dirette.
At this time, police believe the victim was shot once, but they are still waiting on the autopsy report.
Responding officers secured the home and tried to give first aid to Dirette.
Dirette was taken to Grayling Munson Hospital but died from his injuries.
The suspects fled on foot. The sheriff said it is possible the suspects had a vehicle waiting for them near the scene.
A K9 unit was called to the track the suspects but later lost the trail.
Stern said he does not believe the suspects were targeting other people at random.
The sheriff believes there was a motive but could not specify.
"This is a senseless act of violence that has claimed the life of a young man. Officers are expending all available resources investigating this homicide," Stern said.
While the investigation is ongoing, anyone with more information on this incident is asked to call the sheriff's office at 989-275-5101.
