A 14-year-old girl reported missing from Midland County on Monday has been found safe.

Midland County Central Dispatch reported Denay Eddy had been located late Monday night.

Deputies were called to the 6700 block of North Ehlers on May 13 after the teen, who has special needs, walked away from her home at around 1 p.m.

She was found at around 11:35 p.m. in a hunting cabin at the dead-end of Shearer Road, east of Swede Road, by two Michigan State Troopers. The cabin was around 1.5 miles from her home.
