Water main break in Burton repaired
GENESEE CO., Mich. (WNEM) – A water main break that was discovered in the city of Burton on Monday has been repaired.
On Monday afternoon Jan. 22, the Genesee County Drain Commissioner’s Office, Division of Water and Waste Services (GCDC – WWS) said a water main break occurred in the vicinity of the Genesee Road and Atherton Road intersection, adding crews were on the scene securing the line to minimize any impact to residents.

On Tuesday, Jan. 23 at about 3:30 p.m., GCDC – WWS said the water main repair was completed. Water pressure remains at normal levels and all lanes near the Genesee Road and Atherton Road intersection are open for traffic, the department said.
