Man threatens, shoots neighbor at Rosien Towers

Saginaw police have arrested a man after a shooting injured a woman at Rosien Towers.

SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) - A man is now in custody after police said he threatened and shot his neighbor.

Saginaw Police officers responded to reports of a man threatening a woman with a gun on the fourth floor of Rosien Towers on 310 South Harrison Street on Sunday, May 31 at 10:10 p.m.

While officers were on the way, the man began firing the weapon, hitting the 46-year-old woman. When police arrived, officers reported hearing additional gunshots coming from the 4th floor.

Police located the 33-year-old Saginaw man inside his apartment, and took him into custody. He was lodged at the Saginaw County Jail pending review of charges by the Saginaw County Prosecutor’s Office.

Police said the woman was to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and is currently listed in stable condition.

Detectives from the Saginaw Police Department and the Michigan State Police Major Crimes Unit are investigating the shooting.
