Gladwin man killed in rollover crash

GLADWIN CO., Mich. (WNEM) - The Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly crash that killed a 34-year-old man.

Deputies from the sheriff’s office responded to the intersection of Adams Road and Hillcrest Road in Sherman Township on Monday, June 9 at 7:09 p.m.

Investigators said a Gladwin man was driving a 1999 Pontiac Firebird, and lost control of the car while navigating the curve on Adams Road.

The car left the road, going into the ditch, colliding with several trees before overturning, the sheriff’s office said.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The section of Adams Road where the crash happened was shut down for several hours while it was being investigated.

The crash remains under investigation.
